| Step | Stage | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Complaint received | Your complaint is logged in our Complaints Register with a reference number. |
| 2 | Acknowledgement | We send a written acknowledgement within 3 working days, with the reference number and the expected resolution timeline. |
| 3 | Investigation | We review transaction records, correspondence and documents, and identify the root cause. Where the issue sits with an AMC or RTA, we take it up with them on your behalf. |
| 4 | Resolution | We communicate the resolution in writing within 15 working days. If more time is genuinely needed, we tell you why and give a revised timeline. |
| 5 | Closure and record | The complaint is closed after you confirm. Records are kept for at least 5 years. |
If you are not satisfied with our response, or you do not hear from us within the timelines above, you can escalate. You do not need our permission to do so.

Insurance complaints follow a separate route under IRDAI. First approach the concerned insurer's Grievance Cell (we will help you draft and send it). If it is not resolved, escalate to IRDAI Bima Bharosa, and after that to the Insurance Ombudsman.
Loan sanction, pricing and servicing are decided by the lender. For complaints about a loan, approach the lender's grievance cell first. For banks and NBFCs regulated by the RBI, you may then escalate through the RBI Complaint Management System. Let us know as well, so we can follow up with the lender for you.
