How this works
Lenders read a set of ratios together: liquidity, leverage, debt-service coverage, profitability and efficiency. This page computes them all from one set of figures, using closing balances.
The typical references are common lender reference points only. Each lender applies its own norms by sector, facility and rating — they are not approval criteria.
Frequently asked questions
Why closing balances, not averages?
To keep the input short. The individual ratio pages let you use averages.
Why is DSCR here only for one year?
A single-year DSCR is a quick check; the DSCR calculator handles a multi-year projection.
Where do the typical ranges come from?
From common Indian lender practice. They are shown for orientation and are not regulatory figures.
