Show formula & working
EMI = P × r × (1 + r)n ÷ ((1 + r)n − 1)
P = loan amount, r = annual interest rate ÷ 12 ÷ 100, n = number of monthly instalments. Interest each month = balance at the start of the month × r; the rest of the EMI repays principal.Details

How this works
Unsecured business loans are priced higher and run shorter than secured term loans. The EMI is worked out on the reducing balance.
For equal principal instalments, quarterly repayments or a moratorium, use the Term Loan Repayment calculator.
Frequently asked questions
Is the rate on a business loan fixed or floating?
Either — check the Key Facts Statement. Floating-rate loans move with the lender's benchmark.
Can I prepay a business loan?
For floating-rate loans to individuals and micro and small enterprises, RBI's pre-payment directions bar charges at most lenders (on loans up to ₹50 lakh at smaller lenders), for loans sanctioned or renewed from 1 January 2026. Fixed-rate loans follow the loan terms.
Planning business borrowing?
Structure, tenure and the right lender matter as much as the rate. Talk to Rytvae before you apply.
